January 24th, 2012 – 5:30PM / Our primary mode of audio delivery failed. While our transmitter is setup to grab our web stream upon audio failure, it did not.

January 24th, 2012 – 7:30PM / We were able to restore audio through a different box via the interwebs. We’re basically streaming a 320kbps MP3 to the transmitter. There will be no song-titles or artist information via RDS or on our website until this gets resolved. There may also be intermittent audio drop-outs or buffering. We’re working on getting it back to normal.

ROCKERS BUSH ARE TOURING THE STATES WITH CHEVELLE AND FILTER

Gavin Rossdale and the guys of Bush are embarking on a headlining U.S. tour to promote their upcoming, highly-anticipated new album, The Sea of Memories, which arrives Sept. 13. The guys are taking along hard rock bands Chevelle and Filter for the ride.

The fall tour begins Sept. 27 in San Diego, Calif., and closes out Oct. 28 in San Antonio, Texas.

The band’s new single won’t be making it to stores.

Arctic Monkey’s new single ‘The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala’ due for release next Monday will no longer be shipped to stores after rioters set fire to a stock warehouse in London.

The rockers were preparing to release their second single from their fourth studio album ‘Suck It And See’ but their CD inventory was destroyed when the Sony DADC distribution warehouse was burned to the ground.

As a result, only a limited number of vinyl copies will be made available to fans on the band’s website, while the song will also be sold digitally online.

Talking about the incident, a spokesperson from the Arctic Monkey’s label said: “While relieved that no one was injured in the incident, we’re upset about the loss and destruction of our stock, and thinking of our friends at other independent labels who were also affected by the fire.”

Meanwhile, fans have been asked to donate to the LabelLove campaign, which has been established to raise money for the labels affected by the fire.

Muse are excited about getting back in the studio to record their sixth album.

The British rock band comprising of lead singer Matt Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenholme and drummer Dominic Howard have been spending the summer performing at some of the world’s biggest music festivals.

Matt also welcomed a son called Bingham with his fiancée Kate Hudson last month.

The group can’t wait to meet up again and start work on new material.

“September and October, that’s when we’re going to get into the studio to start writing the new album,” Chris told Britain’s Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe.

Muse’s last album, The Resistance, was released in 2009 and earned them a Grammy Award for best rock album. Tracks from the record are warmly received at festivals, with the band insisting they will never tire of entertaining crowds.

“We’re always going to be the kind of band that want to get out and play live,” Chris explained. “As the years go on there’s that temptation to cut the touring down less and less but we still love playing live.

“I can’t ever imagine we’ll be the kind of band that cut the touring down significantly.”

That said, Chris does feel it’s time to offer fans something new. He doesn’t like to play new material at shows as there is always the risk of recorded tracks appearing online.

“I think by the time you’ve finished touring an album, which is usually a two-year cycle, it’s something you start thinking about a lot,” he mused.

“It’s difficult to bring new songs into the live set before you record them with the internet and dodgy recordings of live songs getting out there before they’ve been released on an album.

“People tend not to play new songs live any more. That’s why we want to get into the studio, make another album and then tour it.”

Coldplay have confirmed their new album will be called Mylo Xyloto.

Coldplay have confirmed their new album will be called Mylo Xyloto.

The British band also revealed their fifth studio record will be released by Parlophone Records on October 24. The record has been produced by Markus Dravs, Daniel Green and Rik Simpson, with additional composition from Brian Eno.

“Hello everybody, we have finished our new album… we hope you like it and we hope you are well,” the band posted on their official website.

Last year, frontman Chris Martin revealed the new album title would comprise of two words, with the first word beginning with M.

Mylo Xyloto – pronounced my-lo zy-letoe – will be released in digital, CD and vinyl formats.

A special limited edition pop-up version will also be available, featuring a hardback book of graffiti art designed by David A Carter. It will also contain excerpts from the studio diary, photographs and passages from the group’s personal notebooks.

The band have also revealed their next single, Paradise, will be released on September 12.

Mylo Xyloto follows Coldplay’s 2008 hit album Viva La Vida – which topped the charts in 36 countries. A track listing for the album has not yet been made available.

The Kings of Leon documentary maker insists the band’s family bond means there are “more great albums” to come.

Stephen Mitchell directed Talihina Sky: The Story of Kings of Leon, which gave a behind-the-scenes look at life in the band comprising brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and their cousin Matthew.

Earlier this month the band released a statement saying they were cancelling their US tour because Caleb was “suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion”. Reports followed that he had been urged to enter rehab after he left the stage during a show in Dallas telling fans he was “gonna vomit” and “drink a beer”.

The band plan to resume the shows in Canada in September, and Stephen has spoken out in support of the rockers. He is confident they won’t have any problems getting back on track after this drama.

“It’s a fabric of the band, the roots of the band, they’re family, and I think that’s a reason that they’ve been able to find a common ground to stick together and make five albums over, what, eight-plus years?” he explained.

“That’s really hard to do. There’s not many bands making two albums, let alone five, during that time… they make the great music, but I believe in them and I think the family side of it will be the same reason we end up seeing more great shows and hearing more great albums from them in the future.”

The documentary features one particular scene where Caleb doesn’t attempt to hide his use of intoxicating substances. Stephen feels there was no harm in including that sequence in the documentary, as the movie was meant to be revealing.

“No, and for the record, I might have been more drunk and stoned than Caleb during that interview,” he laughed when MTV Radio asked if he regretted keeping the scene in the film.

“That was a night he and I sat down, actually it was during the Only By the Night sessions, and after working in the studio all day, he said, ‘I want you to come over to the house and let’s sit down.’ … I think it was an amazing conversation, and I think there’s a lot of the film that, looking back, [I] have regrets about showing this or doing that. We made our decisions a while ago and we’re sticking to them and living with them.”

(Billboard.com) – After releasing eighth full-length “The King of Limbs” last February, Radiohead will let other artists take a crack at expanding upon the album’s eight tracks on “TKOL RMX 1234567.” The 19-song, double-CD remix album will be released Oct. 11 on tbd Records.

Canadian psych-pop musician Caribou, veteran electro producer Four Tet, British post-dubstep star Jamie XX and mysterious remix maestro SBTRKT are among the artists re-imagining Radiohead’s latest full-length. The group previously released a handful of “King of Limbs” remixes, such as Lone’s take on “Feral” and Thriller Houseghost’s “Give Up the Ghost” remix, as 12-inch singles last month.

Although Radiohead played a surprise set at Glastonbury festival in June, the group has yet to announce a proper tour behind “The King of Limbs.” The album has sold 241,000 copies since its release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
